Ingredients
- Frozen mixed berries 1 cup
- Frozen banana 1/2
- Greek yogurt 1/2 cup
- Vanilla whey protein 1 scoop
- Almond milk 1/4 cup (start small)
- Granola 2 tbsp (topping)
- Sliced almonds 1 tbsp (topping)
- Fresh berries 1/4 cup (topping)
Steps
- 1 Combine frozen berries, banana, Greek yogurt, protein powder, and 1/4 cup almond milk in blender.
- 2 Blend in pulses, scraping down sides. Add 1 tbsp almond milk at a time only if blender struggles.
- 3 Bowl should be thick enough to eat with a spoon — not pourable.
- 4 Spoon into bowl. Top with granola, almonds, fresh berries.
Less liquid is better. The whole point of a bowl vs smoothie is thickness. Frozen banana is non-negotiable for proper texture.
