Calorie tracker for PCOS management

PCOS care is individualized. Official guidance supports healthy eating and physical activity as possible parts of a broader care plan, but it does not prescribe one universal PCOS diet or macro split.

Why tracking actually helps here

  • Use meal tracking to observe patterns, not to diagnose or treat PCOS
  • Review AI-estimated portions, calories, and macros before saving
  • Discuss weight, nutrition, and activity goals with a qualified health professional

How AskCalories helps

  • Photo meal estimates

Choose a meal photo and AskCalories estimates the visible foods, portions, calories, and macros for you to review.

  • Text and speech-to-text

Describe a meal in chat by typing or using the microphone, then send it for an editable nutrition estimate.

  • Editable calories and macros

Correct the meal name, serving count, calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber before the entry is saved.

Tips that actually help

  • Keep the log descriptive

Record what you ate and correct the estimate. Avoid treating an app-generated number as a clinical recommendation.

  • Bring patterns to your care team

A food log can support a conversation, but diagnosis and treatment decisions belong with a health professional.

FAQ

What can AskCalories analyze?
AskCalories can estimate calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and portion size from a meal photo or a written description. AI estimates are not measurements, so review and edit them before saving.
Can I use voice input?
Yes. Tap the microphone in chat to transcribe what you ate, review the text, and send it. Voice input requires an internet connection and is not a background or hands-free mode.
Can I correct an estimate?
Yes. Before saving a meal you can edit its name, category, serving count, calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber.
What progress does the app show?
The Today view compares logged calories and macros with your daily targets. Progress includes 7- and 30-day calorie and protein charts plus the number of days logged.
Does AskCalories replace a dietitian or medical device?
No. AskCalories provides estimates for general nutrition awareness. Do not use AI-estimated nutrition for medication dosing or as a substitute for professional medical guidance.
Do I need to create a named account?
No signup form is required. The app creates a device-bound account during onboarding so it can save and sync your entries.
